What is The Hall of Fame? In the span of a decade, the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame has established itself as the single, most complete source of bicycling information and historical artifacts in the country. Based in Somerville, New Jersey, volunteers supporting the Hall of Fame have worked tirelessly to spotlight the long tradition of competition and recreational cycling. The Hall has quickly become a significant resource -- part museum, part advocate for all aspects of cycling.
Since 1987, the Hall has inducted 58 of bicycling's most significant luminaries including the likes of Greg LeMond, "Major" Taylor, Alf Goullet, Connie Carpenter-Phinney, Frank Kramer, Jackie Simes, George Mout, Jim Ochowicz, Sheila Young and the "Tour of Somerville" -- America's oldest, continuously-run bicycle race.
